When we met and fell in love twelve years ago we never dreamed that we wouldn't be able to create a little one of our own....
We had such big dreams of a family in the beginning but had to put that dream on hold when we found out that Alan had stage 4b Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. After almost a year long battle he was declared cancer free and we almost immediately began trying to start a family again.
Though Alan fought and won against cancer he is not without battle scars and health issues due to his fight. The main one being diabetes; which is a leading cause of infertility for men.
Since then we have tried and tried to have our own, we have been through two failed adoptions one of which we had for nine months before losing him back to his birth parents, and Alan was diagnosed and miraculously healed of cancer for the second time...
Now here we are after a ten  year battle with health and infertility; our only option to have a biological child is through IVF.....
