Fishing for Autism

Thank you for taking the time to review the second annual “Fishing for Autism” event fundraiser. We are organizing a fishing event for autistic children and adults to be held in July of 2020 to raise awareness for Autism. Last year was our first year doing it and the results were amazing!

Fishing is known to be great therapy for people with ASD so our goal was to provide a fun filled day of fishing where all food, drinks, rods, tackle, and bait were supplied, along with giveaways and prizes courtesy of local businesses and sponsors. Over 100 prizes were given out, we fed over 300 people, and over 100 fish were caught. Almost 200 medals were given out and there was lots of entertainment! (2 bands, a magician, a reptile show, a bouncy house, and a fire truck station.)
We want to make the second annual bigger and better! This event makes people on the spectrum feel special, appreciated, and understood.

To cover the cost of this years event we are in need of donations! We have received an incredible amount of support from the community already and we greatly appreciate any donation that can go towards this day for the people and the cause of Autism.

Thanks again for taking the time. It is much appreciated.

All the best,
