Carrying On a Father's Love Of Hockey

The hockey community is mourning the sudden passing of a dedicated hockey dad, BJ Chan.

For over 10 years, BJ was a constant fixture at the rink, as both his sons, Angus and Enver were valuable members of Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association and more recently, Enver of the Vancouver North East Chiefs. The joy BJ felt from watching his sons on the ice was evident by the smile on his face as he stood freezing at the end boards. One could always count on running into BJ at various rinks throughout the year as he consistently found a way to have Enver playing his favorite game. BJ's love for his children and desire for them to participate in whatever their passion was, always came before his own needs.

This Go Fund Me campaign has been started to ensure that BJ's youngest son Enver, can continue to play hockey, the sport that bonded the two of them so much. Coping with this unexpected loss will undoubtedly take its toll on the Chan family in many ways; however, healing and comfort can be somewhat met if this one wish of BJ's can be fulfilled.

A donation in any amount will help and be greatly appreciated. Please share this link with friends, family and members of your hockey nation.

Thank You
