My wife Shannon and I have been together for 5 years in August. She was first diagnosed with Complex regional pain syndrome a rare Chronic pain disease that has no cure over 5 years ago. She had 3 surgeries on her foot that she developed Type 2 CRPS. She suffers pain 24/7 it's ranked the highest pain you can have on the McGill scale. She use to work as a Personal Support Worker working with people with disabilities to help them stay in there home and live comfortably. She had to quit her job and went to work part time at food basics in town in Elmira. As her condition has been getting worse she has had to quit all together working as it was causing her more pain. She has gotten progressively gotten worse threw the years. It was not till May last year that we noticed a huge difference. She used to be able to go for walks with me and our dogs but now she can't even walk to the far corner and back with out being in intense pain and having to have a nap after because she gets so physically tired from doing the littlest things like getting out of bed. She has a walker that turns in to a wheelchair and a chair lift at our home. But I would love to get a electric scooter so she can enjoy going out and walking our dogs at the Floradale Dam like we used too and going out doors enjoying life. She has a PSW that comes 5 days a week and cares for her by helping with daily tasks like showering, getting dressed, making something to eat and taking her to her pain clinic once a week. I work full-time and am a volunteer firefighter and a full-time caregiver to Shannon and all I want is to see a part of the old her back. Any donation is greatly appreciated and we are so blessed to have had so many people in our community threw out the year help us.
Thank you in advance
