Help Save Potcake Puppies: Airlift to Canada

COVID-19 brought the world to its feet and has changed lives forever. Often overlooked in all this are the animals and how this crisis affects them. Dogs and Cats of Antigua is a non-profit organization, that rescues pups and dogs in Antigua, These animals are fostered at a sanctuary, vetted and transported to Canada and US to be rehomed. Without flights and passengers to transport them the rescue group was left with 70 dogs and pups waiting to get to their adoptive homes. This has crippled the rescue's ability to help many other dogs. They are now using their funds to build a facility to house this COVID overflow, but their dogs and pups need to get to their adoptive families and there are very few options available to them.

 
As the owner of an incredible potcake Lucy, rescued from Antigua, I know first hand how much joy these beautiful souls can bring to families so I have started this go fund me to raise $ 12000 CDN to help these dogs get to their new homes. All the donations will be used to pay for the transport of the dogs by cargo on a plane.  We will bring as many dogs as possible with the funds raised.

 

The dogs shown here each have their own tragic stories but their lives will greatly improve. We know these are tough times, but animals make our lives so much better please don’t overlook them. Every dollar counts. Thank you for your support.
