I’m not sure how to find the right words, today I found out that the world lost an amazing lady. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, realtor and so much more.
Leigh-Anne was one of my daycare parents who became family.
If you knew Leigh-Anne she was always there to help someone in need, give you advice on how to save money, she boasted about her daughters, husband. She loved to spend time with them at their cottage.
This was written by Jordan, her husband.
In just under two weeks, we’ve been dealt the absolute worst of the worst. At 5:07pm on Sunday, I lost my wife, my best friend, the mother of our two very young girls, my anchor, my cheerleader, my shoulder ... to undiagnosed stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. The support of our little community at the trailer park, from family, friends, neighbours and strangers has been nothing but amazing and overwhelming. From dropped off and made meals for me and the girls, to making sure Natalie has been having the time of her life, making sure I’ve slept, watering of my veggies, cutting grass at the house ... the list is endless and all that have been there, kept quiet, been supportive and provided shoulders for me to sob into, I can’t thank you enough. I know I’ve got a big hill to climb, a second birthday for Julie next month, and a heap of other things to figure out and conquer facing me and my girls. I’ve got help and support, but come hell or high water, I’m going to do this, I have to.
