50 lira back to life
You brought the 50 lira back to life. Forgotten in your drawers and central bank’s deposit room to your hands back to life, wearing it with pride and fulfilment.
This bracelet is made out of a story, a story aroused by Beirut August 4 explosion and filled with the love for Lebanon. Nights became a burden where I forgot the meaning of sleep. On of these nights, I could not even stay in bed. All what I was thinking of is the 50 Lebanese Lira brought back to life. I believe that in every crisis, good things can always happen. For me, I believed in my dream as crazy as it looks, and together we can revive this beautiful Lebanese coin.
What’s special about the 50 Lira
Its 8 edges represent the destruction of Beirut 8 times. Each time we look at it in our hands, we remember how Beirut was destroyed and rebuilt 7 times during history, and after 4 August 2020, the 8thtime when Beirut was destroyed, we promise it will rise again stronger and more beautiful.
As it is
You may see on every coin some scars and marks where we intentionally kept them. They represent the effort and life of our ancestors. Our grandparents used it so we can be where we are now. It is much more than wearing a coin, It is wearing the glory and sacrifices of those who preceded us.
Thank you for bringing back Lebanon to life by wearing this bracelet all over the world , especially in these unprecedented times.
