Support Celtic by supporting the Toronto Celtic Club
For more than 50 years the Toronto Celtic Supporters Club has been at touchstone for all who share a passion for Celtic. It has also been a place for the Scottish and Irish communities of Toronto’s “East End” to gather and socialize. A place to share memories, celebrations and our daily lives, thousands of miles away from home…in many ways the TOCSC is our home, away from home.
The ongoing COVID-19 lockdown is now jeopardizing, what until now has been, a successful, self-sufficient social club. Despite being closed since March 17, bills have continued to be paid and our “not for profit” status all but eliminates our ability to seek financial government assistance. The events of the last couple of months have left us in a precarious financial position.
We are respectfully calling on you…our Members, our friends and everyone who has enjoyed the pleasure of a laugh, a song or a drink at the TOCSC to help support the Club by gifting a donation to this GoFundMe page. Any contribution, regardless of size, will be greatly appreciated and assist us in continuing the wonderful tradition we established in 1966.
As we embark on Celtic’s historic drive for Ten in a Row, it’s important that we have a place…our place to celebrate this monumental achievement…together!
Ask not what your Club can do for you but what you can do for your Club.
The president Gerry McLaughlin and Vice President Catherine Morrison will be withdrawing the funds as they are the signing officers for the club.
